Synthetic optical fibers with background suppression
Always at the cutting edge of new industrial technologies, Contrinex today proposes synthetic optical fibers with background suppression.
These new fibers have a fixed operating distance of 12 mm. The exceptional quality of their optics enables them to recognize minute position and thickness differences (from 0.1 mm). Equipped with fully potted optics, glass lenses and a housing of glass-fiber reinforced PBTP, these fibers offer excellent resistance to rough environmental conditions.
For best results, it is highly recommended to use them in conjunction with series 3065 Contrinex fiber-optic amplifiers with teach-in.
Their principal features are:
* Factory adjusted operating distance of 12 mm
* Fully potted optical parts
* 2 separate fibers, outside diameter 2.2 mm
* Extremely fine inner fibers 151 x Ø 75 µm
* Fibers can be cut
* Recognition of position and thickness differences from 0.1 mm
* Suitable for even rough environments, thanks to glass-fiber reinforced PBTP housings
* Scratch-resistant, easy-to-clean glass lenses
* Flexible fiber: very small bending radius
